1996-Gameshow Debt airs on Lifetime.

2001-3rd run of Disney Channel series Bug Juice airs.

2006-Final episode of The Buzz on Maggie airs.

2010-Disney Legend Rue McClanahan dies.


2011-Disney Legend Wally Boag dies.

The Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom now shows nighttime projections.

Nighttime show The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic premieres at Animal Kingdom.  This is a temporary show that keeps the cast working while Rivers of Light is still being worked on.

1971-The Preview center closes in Orlando, Florida.  This center for previewing Walt Disney World ironically became one of the most visited locations in the state during its run.

1983-Main Street USA restaurant American Egg House in Disneyland closes.

1988-Touchstone film Heartbreak Hotel is released.

1993-Contemporary resort restaurant Top of the World closes, it will become California Grill.

1995-Marketplace restaurant Chef Mickey’s closes at Disney Village Marketplace, it will be replaced by Rainforest Cafe.

2012-Grizzly Gulch opens at Hong Kong Disneyland, and with it opens the land’s key attraction Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Train, the Geyser Gulch, and of course with the restaurant Lucky Nugget Saloon.
