1941-Elias Disney, the father of Walt Disney dies.


1959-Frontierland attraction Rainbow Mountain Stage Coaches closes in Disneyland.

1965-Television series A Man Called Shenandoah premieres on ABC.

1970-Television show Cristalbalito, the Calypso Colt airs.

1974-Television series Kolchak: The Night Stalker premieres on ABC.

1978-Television special NBC Salutes the 25th Anniversary of Wonderful World of Disney airs.

1981-Final episode of Disney’s Wonderful World airs.

1986-Animated series Disney’s Wuzzles continues its run on ABC.

1988-Television special Roger Rabbit & the Secrets of Toontown airs.

1996-Hollywood Pictures film The Rich Man’s Wife starring Halle Barry, Clive Owen and Christopher McDonald is released.

1997-ABC Series One Saturday Morning premieres.

Animated series Recess premieres.


1999-Final episode of Secrets of Animal Kingdom airs.

The Time Squares Studios opens in New York, this is where Good Morning America is filmed, and it has quite a elaborate production facility.


2002-Documentary The Sweatbox is released.

2004-Talk show The Tony Danza Show premieres.

2005-Direct to Video animated film Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie is released.

2008-Final episode of Cory in the House airs.

2010-Playhouse Disney series Timmy Time premieres.


2014-Parade float debuting the then soon to be built Shanghai Disneyland parades in the Annual Shanghai Tourism Festival Parade.
