1927-Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon Trolley Troubles is released.


1930-Mickey Mouse cartoon The Chain Gang is released, it introduces a character that eventually becomes Pluto.


1966-Tomorowland attraction Tomorrowland Jets closes in Disneyland.

Tomorrowland attraction The Art of Animation closes in Disneyland.

Tomorrowland attraction Rocket to the Moon closes in Disneyland.

1967-Television series N.Y.P.D. premieres on ABC.

1974-Dinner Show Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue opens in Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World.


1976-Television series The Muppet Show premieres.


1982-Final episode of Kids are People Too airs on ABC.

1983-Disney Legend Yale Gracey dies.


1992-Final episode of Ducktales airs.

1994-Fantasyland attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea closes at Magic Kingdom.

1997-Fantasyland restaurant Meeko’s closes at Disneyland.

1998-Final episode of Jungle Cubs airs.

Direct to Video animated film Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World is released.

2000-Tomorrowland attraction Rocket Rods closes in Disneyland.

2001-Television series The Amazing Race premieres.
