1959-Television special I Captured the King of the Leprechauns airs.


1986-Future World attraction Spaceship Earth reopens after a brief refurbishment in EPCOT Center.


1987-Fantasyland store Briar Rose Cottage opens in Disneyland, it replaced Mickey’s Christmas Chalet.

1989-Firework spectacular Sorcery in the Sky opens in Disney-MGM Studios.

1992-Touchstone film Sister Act starring Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith, Harvey Keitel, Kathy Najimy and Mary Wickes is released.


2009-Pixar film Up featuring the voice talents of Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai and John Ratzenberger is released.


Phineas and Ferb episode Don’t Even Blink and Chez Platypus airs.
