1950-Donald Duck cartoon Crazy Over Daisy is released.

1956-Tomorrowland attraction Astro-Jets opens in Disneyland.

1963-Part 2 of Banner in the Sky entitled The Killer Mountain airs.

1970-Final episode of It Takes a Thief airs on ABC.

1972-Bear Country attraction Country Bear Jamboree opens in Disneyland.


1974-Television Show Part 3 of Diamonds on Wheels airs.

1980-ABC series Nightline premieres.

1990-Disney Channel movie Chips, the War Dog airs.

1995-Hollywood Pictures film Funny Bones starring Oliver Platt, Lee Evans, Richard Griffiths, Oliver Reed, George Carl, Leslie Caron and Jerry Lewis is released.

Film Tall Tale starring Patrick Swayze, Oliver Platt, Roger Aaron Brown, Catherine O’Hara, Scott Glenn, Stephen Lang and Nick Stahl is released.


1996-Disney Channel Premiere Film The Little Riders airs.

2000-Television series Making the Band premieres on ABC, it will eventually move to MTV.

2005-Store Beach Club Marketplace opens up in Beach Club Resort.

2006-Hollywood Pictures film Stay Alive is released.

Disney Channel show Hannah Montana airs.

Disney Channel Original Movie Cow Belles airs.
