1913-Disney Legend Donn Tatum is born.

1928-Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon Harem Scarem is released.

1937-Donald Duck cartoon Don Donald is released.


1959-Television show Texas John Slaughter Killers from Kansas airs.

1968-Television series It Takes a Thief premieres on ABC.

1972-Television show Mountain born airs.

1976-Main Street USA store Disneyana opens in Disneyland, replacing Jewelry Store.

1977-Part 1 of Television series Kit Carson and the Mountain Men airs.

1987-Tomorrowland attraction Star Tours opens in Disneyland replacing Adventures Thru Inner Space.


1994-Circle Vision closes in Tomorrowland of Magic Kingdom, it ends with American Journeys.

1992-Disney Legend Claude Coats dies.

1999-Future world attraction and pavilion Horizons closes at Epcot.

2003-Television film “The X-Team” airs on ABC.

2012-Disney Junior series The Octonauts premieres.


Fantasyland attraction Matterhorn closes down for a major remodel in Disneyland.
