1969-Disney Legend Leigh Harline dies.

Featurette It’s Tough To Be a Bird is released.

1978-Television special Christmas at Walt Disney World airs.

1989-Part 2 of Television series A Mother’s courage: The Mary Thomas Story airs.

1992-Television special Best of Country 92: Countdown at the Neon Armadillo airs.

1993-Touchstone film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habbit starring Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Najimy, James Coburn and Mary Wickes is released.

The Land pavilion attraction Living with the Land opens in Epcot’s Future World.


Greenhouse Tours opens in the Land Pavilion of EPCOT Center’s Future World, replacing Tomorrow’s Harvest.

1994-Television special Wonderful World of Disney: 40 Years of Television Magic airs.

1999-Touchstone film Duece Bigalow: Male Gigalo is released.

2004-Film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou starring Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchet, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum and Michael Gambon is released.
