1948-Variety show Buzzy Wuzzy premieres on ABC.

1954-Television Show The Donald Duck Story airs.

1963-Television show The Truth About Mother Goose airs.

1978-Television special Star Wars Holiday Special airs.


1984-Part 2 of Television show Mickey, Donald and Sport Goofy Show airs.

1985-Disney Channel movie The Blue Yonder starring Peter Coyote and Art Carney airs.

1989-Animated classic The Little Mermaid is generally released throughout the country sparking what will be dubbed the Disney Rennaissance.

1995-Television special “Aladdin on Ice” airs on CBS

2002-Wonderful World of Disney movie Mr. St. Nick airs.
